The quiet student with a relevant tragic backstory, the funny friends and the darkly handsome guy they don't really know. But they have a friend in common. Or had, as he's gone missing.

2: How Did You Know The Deceased?

A friend now confirmed dead, in suspicious circumstances.

Concern for their personal safety leads to investigating.

And to exploring a closed-off campus building.

At night.

Investigating an unsafe building with phone lights yields some clues, as well as a panicky reaction to seeing someone else there.

And isn't a good alibi when another victim is found.

4: What Was That?

Digging into their friend's history.

And discovering that the burned body in the morgue isn't actually him.

So now we have at least one murder, possibly two. A body that isn't David. David is still missing. The campus is on curfew. And there's a breaking-curfew party at the off-campus block Josh stays at. If anything's going to happen, it's going to be there. Can the group stop another attack...?

6: Why Would You Do That?

The party would have been bad even if Ellie and Josh weren't chased by a masked figure.

But it gives some suspects an alibi.

7: How Many?

It's not one killer. And they're holding David, and maybe more.

And the police are chasing Ryan.

8: Why?

A conspiracy revealed, revenge for something a generation ago. David used to lure Laura in as her father was involved, attempts to shake Ellie and Josh and to frame Ryan. Ending with a fight with the killers in the collapsing condemned hall.

Dramatic death, ironic coda, cue titles.
