We had the first snow here, five days after the first frost. I was prepared due to snow elsewhere in the country and therefore knowing where the shovel is and shopping a couple days early.

The Crow (2024)

The Crow (2024) was alright. Adequate.

Not as close to the comic as the original film, with a couple of its elements the original didn't use but not much. Takes a long time to get you invested in the central love. Solves the problem of an unstoppable hero by not getting there for over an hour. Nothingy villains. Mostly good but not new soundtrack. Would have been better not calling them Eric and Shelly.

On a purely superficial level, Brandon Lee was achingly beautiful and Bill Skarsgård isn't.

Then again there hasn't been a really good story in the comics since the original either.

Abigail is lots of fun. Takes a bit to get going as it's just about impossible not to know the first twist (it's why I was there for one) but once it gets there it's ON.

World Of Darkness MMO footage

So, yeah, ten years since the World Of Darkness MMO was cancelled. Looks like it would have been fun.

I'm sure I would have spent my entire time in the "coffeeshop" social section and all my in-character money on clothes and avoided the other two thirds of the game, but I wouldn't have been the only one.

The main things we got from the World Of Darkness MMO were a lot of the art in V5 and a really nice character avatar system that EVE Online totally didn't need.

Maybe next time.
