Taylor Swift

Nice girl, good singer, I think she could go far.

Haven

Camarilla: "Did you just name your ominous techno club based in an old church 'Haven'?"

The player characters: "... no?"

June

It's June, annual reminder: Pride was a riot.

How not to blockbuster LARP

Jenny Nicholson, The Spectacular Failure of the Star Wars Hotel

Smash 'em up Jenny!

A four-hour examination of the $6000 Star Wars immersive theatre escape room hotel thing, ending by noting its big features were originally meant to be in the regular Star Wars park instead of the hotel.

Reuel: Her deconstruction of Evermore and The Last Bronicon are also very fun watches

FURIOSA

FURIOSA. WITNESSED.

It's bitty, but most of the bits are very good bits.

World Goth Day 2024

Happy World Goth Day! (or not obv)

When I grow up I want to be drawn by Abigail Larson.

Buffy, Chosen at 21

I'm fine

Summer?

Summer is coming (at least in calendar terms) and that can mean different RPGs running.

And that means... yes, ya witches:

Bambie Thug, Doomsday Blue

It's going to be one of THOSE Eurovisions.

.

(They're all THOSE Eurovisions.)

CROWN THE WITCH

Curseborne

Curseborne is a real thing.

(Character creation video)

Or is it?

Flesh Of The Gods

Mark K

This feels relevant to your interests:

Also, my preferred headline version:

Good news horndogs, Oscar Isaac and Kristen Stewart are doing a vampire movie together

Fair. And fair.

Getting the idea to run a game again. Maybe if I lie down until it goes away...

Taylor Swift, The Tortured Poets Department

All my mornings are Mondays stuck in an endless February

I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary

And I love you, it's ruining my life

Fortnight

I feel like maybe this is not going to be an up bouncy pop album.

Abigail

Abigail is lots of fun. Takes a bit to get going as it's just about impossible not to know the first twist (it's why I was there for one) but once it gets there it's ON.

World Of Darkness MMO footage

So, yeah, ten years since the World Of Darkness MMO was cancelled. Looks like it would have been fun.

I'm sure I would have spent my entire time in the "coffeeshop" social section and all my in-character money on clothes and avoided the other two thirds of the game, but I wouldn't have been the only one.

The main things we got from the World Of Darkness MMO were a lot of the art in V5 and a really nice character avatar system that EVE Online totally didn't need.

Maybe next time.

The First Omen

The First Omen is good, but came out two weeks after Immaculate which does almost the same story with freedom in how it ends.

Immaculate

Sydney Sweeney watches Immaculate with real pastors

One of my favourite trailers in years.

Easter 2024

Oh, sure, "Resurrection" on April 1st.

WoD Happens

Reupping dumb Twitter joke for Bluesky era

Lisa Frankenstein

Lisa Frankenstein is great fun, particularly if you're me, or me-adjacent in terms of taste.
