Snow

We had the first snow here, five days after the first frost. I was prepared due to snow elsewhere in the country and therefore knowing where the shovel is and shopping a couple days early.

I hope you're all proud of me.

Sandy: Muchly. That first snow can be a doozy no matter how prepared one is. As long as it stops for a day or two at least. Stay warm. Hope you bottled some of that record heat from the summer.

Two bunnies in halloween costumes are taking a basket of candy from a doorstep, where it has been left out on Halloween along with a note saying "Take one". One of the thieves is dressed as a robber, the other is a cowboy. A third bunny, arriving at the house slightly after them, looks on disapprovingly.

The Crow (2024)

The Crow (2024) was alright. Adequate.

Not as close to the comic as the original film, with a couple of its elements the original didn't use but not much. Takes a long time to get you invested in the central love. Solves the problem of an unstoppable hero by not getting there for over an hour. Nothingy villains. Mostly good but not new soundtrack. Would have been better not calling them Eric and Shelly.

On a purely superficial level, Brandon Lee was achingly beautiful and Bill Skarsgård isn't.

Then again there hasn't been a really good story in the comics since the original either.
