For the new year I'd like to play an RPG. (The V5 game I mentioned at the start of the academic year got too many new players and it seems none of them have flaked. Damn them - I mean good for the hobby!)

Presents were opened, food was eaten, TV was watched, family was video called, first DVD is about to be checked to see if it plays (i.e. watched) so today was quite nice.

Three of the five main channels showing the Queen's funeral, 4 showing a documentary about the Queen and 5 showing cartoons to keep kids quiet. Paddington 2 on BBC One in the evening. The minor ITV channels showing the same as ITV. Other commercial channels running the usual, but with silence instead of ads in the ad breaks. It's all a bit much.
